Week 6 - BabyLo's first BBQ party

Week 6 is a busy week for MummyLo because we are both due for checkups. Getting out of the house seems like a much longer task than before now that I have you. I have to feed, change or perhaps bath you first before we head out and some days you could be less cooperative. On thursday afternoon, BabyLo was booked in with the pediatrician Dr. Daniel Lin to check out your jaundice. BabyLo now weigh 5.8kg, 38cm head circumference and is 58cm in length. The blood test was an horrible experience for you, after they prick you with a needle at the heels, they had to squeeze your foot to let out 6 tubes worth of blood. You were crying the whole time and by the end of the blood collection, your face was red like a tomato from all the crying.
Friday was Anzac Day public holiday, MummyLo and DaddyLo planned a big bbq party for you to celebrate your one-month birthday. It happened to be the only sunny day after two-weeks worth of rain, lucky for us, the bbq went ahead smoothly. Auntie YY, our kind neighbour and Auntie Laine helped with all the BBQ cooking while you slept through half of the party.

MummyLo forgot to take some good pictures of you and the guests, now hopefully Uncle Dom would have some superb shots to show us soon.

BabyLo, look at how many presents you have received already. I think DaddyLo is jealous to see you have even more toys than him.

Saturday morning 9am, BabyLo got to meet GranddaddyMak for the first time. It took a while for GranddaddyMak to come into our house as he was already busy holding you at the doorstep and asking us to take pictures of you two. He was thrilled to finally meet his first grandson. He said you looked like DaddyLo. GrandaddyMak had you in his arms the whole time till you fell asleep, aren't you gonna be spoil rotten real soon.
